The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United States serves as the official diplomatic representation of Armenia, promoting bilateral relations and providing consular services to Armenian citizens and the public.
AGBU Young Professionals DC (YPDC) connects Armenian young professionals (ages 22-40) across the Washington, D.C. area through social, cultural, and professional programming. Through community gatherings, networking events, and cultural initiatives, YPDC aims to strengthen Armenian identity, build meaningful connections, and cultivate the next generation of Armenian leaders in the DMV.

Established in 1972, the Armenian Assembly of America is the largest Washington-based nationwide organization promoting public understanding and awareness of Armenian issues. The Assembly is a non-partisan, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt membership organization.
The mission of ACYOA is to guide youth (ACYOA Juniors ages 13 – 17) in search for guidance to Christ through the teachings and traditions of the Armenian Church and bring together young people (ACYOA Seniors ages 18-30) grow their Armenian Apostolic faith, deepen their cultural heritage and build meaningful community through worship, fellowship, service and leadership.

The Armenian Youth Federation (AYF-YOARF) “Ani” Seniors and “Sevan” Juniors connect Armenian youth across DC, MD, and VA to their heritage through five pillars of engagement: Hai Tahd (advancing the Armenian Cause), educational programs, cultural activities, athletic events, and social gatherings. From grassroots protests and pro-Artsakh/Armenia advocacy to educational programs (AYF Junior Seminar, AYF Camp Haiastan), and homeland initiatives, the AYF-YOARF empowers youth ages 10-26 to cultivate their Armenian identity while strengthening our local DC-MD-VA community and pursuing justice for the Armenian nation.

Hamasdegh Armenian School provides Armenian language education to children from Pre-K to 8th grade. Students also receive Armenian religion lessons, learn Armenian history and culture, sing Armenian songs, learn traditional Armenian dances, read Armenian literature and make friends that last a lifetime.

Hamazakyin’s mission is to preserve and advance Armenian art, culture, heritage and identity. Hamazkayin is a nonprofit, cultural and educational organization. The local chapter, a part of the Eastern Region, is the D.C. chapter.” Hamazkayin D.C. also sponsors and runs the Van dance group.

Soorp Khatch Armenian Apostolic Church (Holy Cross) in Bethesda, Maryland, is a historic parish serving as a vibrant spiritual, cultural, and community home for Armenians and others in the Greater Washington, D.C. region. Established officially on September 24, 1959, the parish was founded to preserve Armenian faith, language, and heritage while nurturing worship and community life under the jurisdiction of the Holy See of Cilicia.

Mission of the Shnorhali Sunday school is to teach Armenian language and basics of culture to help our children and families live authentic Armenian Christian lives and become active members of our community. Shnorhali School includes K- 8 grades Eastern and Western Armenian classes, religion and Armenian history and culture. and religion class for grades 9-12.
